Cherry Bells Campanula Punctata ‘Cherry Bells’ Not one person has passed by this plant in our garden without stopping to admire its extraordinary bell-shaped, cherry-red flowers. Large, tubular bells of cherry red appear all along the stems of these vigorous plants. The red bells are nicely edged in white. The large, pendulous blooms and buds are especially striking against the backdrop of somewhat triangular, serrated green leaves. Cherry Bells bloom heavily in summer and do best in full sun to partial shade. They do especially well in a deep, fertile soil. Campanulas are among the most popular of perennials. This midsized selection is perfect for the sun or part-shade border. Plants form a spreading mound of light green leaves, bearing upright stems with huge drooping bells in a deep rose-pink shade. Clumps are inclined to spread vigorously, so give this plant plenty of space. Cherry Bells bloom from July through mid-October. These plants are currently growing in 4” pots in our greenhouse. They will be shipped with moist material wrapped around their roots.
