Strawberries & Cream Ribbon Grass Phalarisarundinacea 'Strawberries & Cream' This easy-to-grow, maintenance free ornamental grass is quite a showpiece in the garden or landscape. The grass grows very bushy and gets about 2-3 tall. The grass has green and white foliage, and during cool seasons, its foliage will be blushed with pink. Strawberries & Cream ribbon grass grows well in moist, wet conditions and in poorly drained soils. It will grow in partial sun to full shade. This ornamental grass is a vigorous grower, and considered deer resistant once established. Excellent for erosion control, since the grass grows by creeping rhizomes and is extremely hardy. This aggressive grower loves moist, fertile soil, and makes an appealing accent plant, pond border, or container plant. Ribbon grasses are pest and disease-free. This grass grows 2-3' tall and spreads by rhizomes to 5' wide. These plants are growing in 4” pots.
